Eagle Lake Alberta

We did not see eagles but a giant 1 meter long swan...Maybe bigger. | The thing was huge. What I learned was teens don't paddle. Teens learned you don't upset parents or you die of Hypothermia. You better appreciate the burger in your belly too. I was dead set on leaving the city. Canoe or hike. It was happening. With or without the family. I was leaving the city limits. Lucky for them they decided to follow and built some character too. A few friendly locals around. Not a major issue. They were more curious about us then we cared about them. They don't get many visitors. I should direct them to customer service work. Then they won't be so curious. Then a Millionaire or Billionaire flew over head in their helicopter... Not sure if we were trespassing or if they were shocked to see people on the near freezing waters. Hey-we are Canadian. We have endured far worse. Like always we were left alone. No harm and no foul. Only the cows and swans took an interest and mmooooo! to the babies to stay away from us when they wandered to close to the water shore. Have a great week end. ~ Enjoy!
