Wolfie, Day of the Wolf

I just finished this short story. It has had rave reviews by those who have read it. You can find the link to the ebook here....

I've included a snap shot of the cover included. You'll find a bunch of mood worthy other art inside the master piece.

Visions of Ninja Turtles?!

I did this for the visions show a great cause for happy harbor comics. Unfortunately I did not get my art over there in time so I did my best to promote the heck out of the show to help the cause out. It honors a great person as well.

At any rate I hope it went well. Here is the cover piece I finished, though it never made it to the show.

I encourage all artist to take part in local events. It is a great way to promote your self and support local causes too.

Perfect life

It's a new year and I've posted more then I normally would. I had some down time to surf the web and stumbled on an old favorite site that defined much of my life.
Now I realize that I only touched a fraction of that perfect life in all the time I've been alive. I have been there, I have done that. I want to get back there!

The idea of a beach life on weekends with loved ones is as perfect as it gets. I'm sure I would be less involved with computers if I had a cabin to run to or an ocean a short walk or bike ride away.

May be I need to listen to the wife and just do it!

Maybe this is the year?

Web busy and offline busy.

A new updated look is back for 14ucomics.
I'm surprised at how well it turned out and the demand to have my comics continue. Well let's not get crazy. The site is up. Next is the comic, or stories. I hate to say it but yes I'm taking the anthology approach... Well that too depends on response.

For now enjoy the updated look and review the site at your leisure and we will se where it all goes from there.

Back in play!

My weekly short story broad cast is back in play this week. It's nice to be back at the audio play after the holiday break. You can catch up with the story from the following two (Yes I said two)sites.

My boys like to art away as a hobby and fill in the commercial gaps when they are watching their Cartoons. Yes I watch them too. I thought I would share a few of the creations my young ones are doing when I'm not watching, or off to a bathroom break or just trying to stay awake but can't and blink for ten minutes.

A mixed media - Notice the brilliant use of a gray malleable eraser for the head with poked holes for monster eyes, and the torn paper arms and penciled mouth joined with scotch tape because it is almost invisible. Yes my youngest did that. It is better than any mixed media piece I ever pulled off. I'm more then 30 years his senior too.

The second was a wood panel painting done by two little ones. The board was going to be a removable wall panel until my youngest had designs of their own. Now we have a beautiful painting on a wooden panel.

New Year - New Stories

Here are the front and back covers in progress, for a new short story coming out later this year. They will not change much from what you see here. It will be available from Lulu as a digital book and include proof of concept illustrations too. That is a bonus.
